 Golden Dunes International LLC (gDi) through its investment arm Golden Dunes Investments LLC (GDI) founded and fully executed the project of establishing the first high pressure carbon steel pipe mill. Set up in the industrial hub of the Sultanate of Oman, Gulf International Pipe Industry LLC (GIPI) is the first pipe mill in the MENA region and the entire Indian sub-continent to produce up to 24-inch carbon steel pipes using ERW technology. Based in the Sohar industrial area, GIPI occupies an area of 240,000 square meters and is currently fully operational with all necessary international certifications and accreditations. In December 2012, GDI divested all their shares in GIPI to TMK, Russia’s largest manufacturer and exporter of steel pipes
